Improvement of technologies for pulper waste treatment (single screw press type Babbini MIC6)

The problem concerning the management of wastes from paper industry has been recently highlighted. The operators in this field found themselves in the need to improve these wastes management to meet the requirements of the wastes treatment regulations, as well as to reduce costs.
The big future challenge is to give a value to these products, leaving behind the idea of them as “wastes”, while starting thinking about them as “byproducts”, in order to reduce at least their disposal costs.
Another aspect that can be immediately improved, with relatively limited investments and with little invasive adjustments on the processing plant, is represented by the reduction of the quantity of product to be disposed, by means of a better dewatering of wastes.
