New biconical beet pulp presses type PB

A new generation of Babbini high-performance presses called the “PB…” officially came onto the market in 1989. Externally, these presses are the same as the Babbini presses type “P…”, but the screws geometry changes radically, as the perforated external cage is completely conical, tapering at the same rate as the screw shaft.
This ensures total overlap in the central area right along the length of the press, compared to a much smaller area in conventional presses, with a truncated cone in the external cage.
